Don’t be tempted to give away your happiness and joy this Thanksgiving by being upset with anything, regardless of what is happening around you. If you start to get frustrated with the way other people drive, go through security at an airport, talk in a restaurant, push in front of you in a check-out lane or wiggle in church, stop and decide, is this really worth me giving up one second of happiness? Of course it isn’t.
And to feel even better this holiday, think of someone you can still contact, who did something for you that you really appreciated. Write a letter to this person explaining how grateful you are for what they did, and if possible, hand deliver the letter. I did this once and you can’t imagine how great it made me feel (and the other person as well).
There are so many things we have to be appreciative of this Thanksgiving. Enjoy, share and know that I’m grateful for each and every one of you who take the time to read my Wednesday Wisdoms. Thank you!
